Statue Of Liberty / Temsel El Shohada


The Statue of Liberty was offered as a gift from the people of France to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of U.S. independence. Temsel El Shohada (or Martyr’s Monument) was first built during the French Mandate, in honor of martyrs executed in Martyrs’ Square in 1916.
